Guidelines for the Management of Transfusion-Related Acute Lung Injury

This Guideline addresses the clinical and laboratory features of transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI), as well as its management. TRALI is a life-threatening complication of transfusion that is clinically indistinguishable from the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), but which has a more favorable prognosis.
